Nice to see Willy again. Glad Hunter still has a same age friend. Of course, there is no reason he wouldn’t. It’s only been a day for them. Still nice to see him.
A lazy eye is actually one that wanders at times and is not in a fixed position(thus lazy), quite often they are controllable because they are just ‘tired’ when forced to remain in one position and the person with that disability can just keep looking around to keep their eye from getting tired of being stuck in place. Wall-eye or Cross-eye is when the eye is stuck in a position looking out from or in-to the center of vision.
My son had a similar problem growing up (not as bad), because he had a fold in his retina which obscured his vision straight-on and his eye was always trying to tic sideways so he could see past it.
Or there’s Marty Feldman, whose wall-eye was a result of an illness later exacerbated by a head injury.
It should be illegal for Hunter to be this adorable, it’s great he made freinds so fast and is so enthusiastic about school despite his rough start 🙂

I used to talk that way. I needed speech therapy.
Is it just me, or are Willy’s eyes lopsided?
No, looks like Willy has Lazy Eye

They are lazy eyes they’re explained in an earlier chapter but he still has functioning vision he just has a slightly wider field of vision
It doesn’t necessarily have to be lazy eye.

That’s I-gor.
He was a brilliant comedian. More so because he could make creative use of his disability, and not let it define him.
He was more than meets the eye.

If he’s got the most common wall-eye affliction, It’ll be fixed.
Being able to move one’s eyes independently is extremely rare.
