And that was why I was concerned about her behavior before.
Your concerns may certainly be valid. But at this time of night they have little choice but wait it out, and try to convince her that consent is a thing that’s very important.
She’s gonna get her hands on it eventually. Persistence always pays off.

BTW, I see Kaleb doesn’t wear his helmet as much as he used to. He must be healing up satisfactorily.

I guess I hadn’t seen Kaleb outside much lately. Either that or I had forgotten. (Just as likely as the other.)
Speaking from experience, people often don’t think they need safety precautions inside their own home, because of the belief that their home environment is “safe” from the outside world and the hazards it presents when you’re out and about.
Yet there are plenty of hazards in your own home, such as cleaning and laundry chemicals, electricity, hot water, stairs, gas lines, stairs, etc.
Stairs. I really hate stairs.
