Poor Colin. We know that he would never do anything inappropriate with Tanya, or any of the kits. He knows this fact as well. But he’s afraid that he’ll give the impression that he would do something inappropriate. And this difficult situation is only made more difficult by the fact his daughter was raped only yesterday, and dealing with who knows what right now. Flora needs to approach carefully. Oh, wow, I was not expecting that. I mean, I understand why he’d be concerned; I’ve heard some horror stories from dads who’ve been in that situation, so Tanya could notice such a thing, though it’s just as likely she might not notice. She’s pretty young, so she probably doesn’t have any understanding of how it all works for boys and might not have the discretion not to say anything if she does notice it. The assumption I’m operating under, until we get more information, is that he doesn’t want to give the appearance of being aroused, either by Tanya or the kids in general.
Trust me, it happens even when we don’t want it to happen, or mean for it to happen. In a situation like that all you can do is try to play it cool.
