She may just need a bit of his sternness to realize that not everybody is okay with everything. As long as he can hold his temper and not turn abusive or give up.
Hopefully, Talitha’s grandparents can hendle get better than Gruff can because he’s clearly overwhelmed.
I predict an initial week of near-heart attacks.

Full honesty, someone like him who has no idea how to care for an abused child like this, family or not, shouldnt have been given her to look after, they essentially dumped her on him and now he has no idea what to do.
This will end badly.
It’s been shown that there was *literally* nobody else.
I hope these kids get therapy at some point
