i find the slap a little too much, ok he was really got at contain her self until that, at least let him explain before.
I’m with you on that one. I realize that Flora is short on sleep and probably more than a little grumpy because of that. Honestly, I don’t know what transgression deserved the slap. There are several small things she could be angry about, but whoa! I’m trying to figure it out and I bet Colin is too. Hopefully, we’ll find out for sure in the next strip.

is the position of the hand at the end, she didn’t use all the shoulder and the body give more strength , but just the first half of the arm, it migth hurt a little but that wont do very much damage.

Look at the angle of his head… From the angle of the top of his head and his snout, it looked on first glance like his head was literally bent in the middle.

You know? I had all but forgotten about that situation. It could be that as well or maybe a combination of both.
I also think you’re correct. I think I mentioned way back when that Colin going nude with the boys was a bad idea, just inviting accusations of child molestation. Though Flora is only one step removed from that by letting the girls go naked, at least she remained clothed. If this is, in fact, the reason for her being upset then she needs to consider her own decisions as well.
Ooh. A lover’s spat. But, if it’s what I think it’s about, I can’t really blame Flora.
