Yes I am being optimistic about Tanya and Beth-Anne becoming friends. Tanya is or was just as much of a bully as Benni, Laroy, Jestan and Beth-Anne and she is slowly realizing and learning that she needs to better herself. Beth-Anne is also realizing that she has done wrong and is trying to make amends. Tanya and Beth-Anne can be friends once they get past their preconceived ideas about each other. I have stated in the past about Tanya being a bully, and even Kaleb and some of his friends have made that assumption before what happened to him. People… Read more »
Tanya forgave Talitha for sticking her finger into her vagina because she realized Talitha was young and psychologically damaged and genuinely didn’t know she did the wrong thing until Tanya told her. But Beth-Anne’s crime was far worse, and Tanya could hardly be expected to forgive her, let along like her, no matter how much remorse Beth-Anne shows.
All Beth-Anne wanted was to have Jestan beat up Tanya, not for him raping her. What Jestan did shook Beth-Anne to her core and she is doing what she can to set things right. One thing that we don’t know is what all did she tell her parents. Did she tell them that Jestan beat up, knocked out and raped a kit, or did she tell them that she found Jestan outside beaten up, naked and unconscious. Either way, there is trouble coming from her family and it will be aimed at Benni for what he did to Jestan as… Read more »
Benni was probably unaware of the seriousness of what he had done at the time. And when he thought Colin had cub sex in mind, he offered himself to Colin in order to get him not to molest any other cubs. Quite a way to redeem oneself if you ask me.
Beth-Anne never asked Jestan to rape Tanya, all she wanted was for Jestan to teach Tanya a lesson. Beth-Anne tried to stop Jestan from raping Tanya and Jestan threatened Beth-Anne with the same if she didn’t get out of there.
Even if that’s true, she’s still responsible for what happened. Just like the getaway driver is responsible for robbing a bank even though they didn’t use a gun. It’s called being an accessory. If you go with a friend to help commit a robbery but it escalates to the homeowner being murdered by your friend, you’re charged as an accessory to murder because you should’ve known better. That’s how the law works.
In context it seems to be the currency and this was confirmed on the Discord by Campion. Likely the equivalent of a dollar, since it can be split up into quarters (quarter prim)
“Prims” as the name of the currency was actually confirmed via comments on the comic’s old host… which has gone defunct and AFAIK no one has ever archived the posts.
Well, this is a future world where humans are gone and animal-people are not populating Earth. The histories may run along similar paths but it is obviously not identical. This may be the future “1990’s”, but who is the President of the USA and so forth?
Ah, the enormous cabinet arcade games. Those bring back some memories…
On the other hand, damn. I be getting old.
I think that any friendship that may arise from this situation may take a while unless some drastic event occurs. However, I can see the potential of becoming allies, tentatively, of course.
I’m not convinced any friendship will come out of this. They’re just playing separately on an arcade machine.

Why are some people way too obsessed over the idea that Tanya will accept Beth-Anne as a friend (despite she, along with Jestan, ruined her life)? I personally don’t think Tanya will tolerate Flora’s way to manage the situation for long. While I understand the latter is doing her best to convince the kits to be civil towards each other, at least she should’ve said to Tanya that she’ll “keep an eye on Beth-Anne if the kit does something fishy”, so she shouldn’t get more worried and angry than she is now. Not to mention that the “so I want… Read more »
It’s because Beth-Anne has had a lot of growth over a short period of time. She regrets what was done. She knows it went too far and she’s sorry for her part in it.. She went to Jestan because, as her brother, she thought he wanted to protect and defend her. He took that WAY too far and scared her beyond sanity to a place where she could see him for what he really is. She just wanted revenge for the gut punch Tanya laid on her as revenge for her actions regarding Kaleb. I believe Flora is trying to… Read more »
If a friendship is going to form between these two, this is my prediction for how it’s going to start. Beth-Anne: So… Tanya? Tanya: *Grunts* What? Beth-Anne: Is Benni like your brother or something? Tanya: *Thinks* I guess you could say something like that. Beth-Anne: He beat up Jestan pretty good for you. Tanya: That’s what he said. He could’ve done more though. Beth-Anne: … Do you think he could beat up Jestan for me? Tanya: *Slowly looks at Beth-Anne in confusion* Huh? Why would he even do that? Are you trying to get him in trouble or something? Beth-Anne:… Read more »

Let the beginning bonds of friendship come forth.
Indeed. Would be nice to see them engaging in sister rivalry at times 😀
This is neat optimism

But Beth-Anne was responsible for having Tanya raped, and you cannot whitewash that.
Just like Benny was responsible for Kaleb’s concussion, coma, and seizures. He essentially got Flora fired from her job and left her unemployed.
Go back and look.

You *really* seem to have a lot invested in this “freindship” working out
🤔
Is “prim” an obscure reference to something, or just a typo?
As in the line “Here’s a prim to play that arcade game[…]” in the first frame.
I was unfortunately unable to get an archive of the comments. I could’ve added them here with a bit of effort.
Well, this is a future world where humans are gone and animal-people are not populating Earth. The histories may run along similar paths but it is obviously not identical. This may be the future “1990’s”, but who is the President of the USA and so forth?
Buddy Quillon.
A porcupine?

I miss them good old days
Nothing like vidya games to kickstart a budding friendship. Tanya could use this to show Beth-Anne some tricks to beat the game.
One can hope, but it will be a long, long road.
With potholes.
Maybe a few decrepit bridges…
…flooding…
…land mines…
However, the Power of Atari compels you! (Or “Alrite 300 Games” in this case)
I’m afraid the damage is done. Especially since Tanya simply is not the forgiving type from all that I’ve seen.
I’m not convinced any friendship will come out of this. They’re just playing separately on an arcade machine.

I think the best that will happen is a truce. There is no reason for Tanya to like Beth-Anne, no matter how remorseful she is.
The irony is that if Beth-Anne hadn’t fucked Tanya over, she and Benny wouldn’t be getting along like they are now.
Because Benni came to Tanya’s rescue.
What, since *Yesterday*?

Yeah. I can see that being a thing.
I loved Missile Command…
My oldest game that was my favorite was Gauntlet. If I played with other people, we’d shout and swear at each other.
