She has every right to be. After all, Talitha did touch her little brother inappropriately, so she will be worried and skeptical regardless. But she seems to be thinking about it.
Um, Flora is telling a little kid how to deal with another little kid who has been psychologically damaged by a perverted father. What next, is Flora going to teach her how to do income taxes?
Flora’s doing the best with what she’s got to work with. If Tanya pulps Tali’ in retaliation for Hunter, she’ll just clam up further and they’ll never get any information that can be used against her father to have him put away. Tali’ has to feel at ease enough to let her guard down so she can talk freely without fear of being in trouble. All Flora is really telling Tanya to do is not pulp Tali’, not molest her in turn, and demonstrate how a kit should and shouldn’t act by controlling her own actions. Agreed, and at this point, kids do tend to mimic slightly older ones and Talitha is the prime age zone of wanting to ‘be like the big kids’, so seeing Tanya behaving in such and such a manner may help her in starting to put the pieces together on acceptable and unacceptable behavior. There is a tremendous amount of persuasion in trying to develop peer status with youngsters.

It’s that ability to stop and think, even if prompted from an external source (in this case Flora) that would resolve a lot of conflicts between kids before they even started. I applaud Flora, and Colin, for trying to approach this from a calm angle for the sake of the kits; especially the most abused of them, Bennie and Talitha. It CAN’T be easy for either parent right now; They’ve both got their kits in the care of another solo parent; They’re both dealing with multiple abuse victims while Flora being one herself; They’re both trying to duct tape said… Read more »
I think Tali is going to teach Tanya all kinds of things either by example or “hands on” so to speak , she seems to have no sense of boundries. personal or otherwise. I believe the teaching will wind up mutual and the warning of no Tali in the room when Tanya is masturbating will be observed at first but not for long. Especially as Tanya’s budding sexual desires grow as she matures.as well as her tendacy to both show off and her competitive nature.
