There’s a part of me that wonders if it’s a good idea for them to be communicating with Beth-Anne’s family considering they’ll be likely be seeing them in court with the whole Jestan thing.
That’s a really good thought! It’s concerning to think that such communication might get in the way of whatever justice needs to manifest through proper court procedures… We’ve never really gotten a good “take” on how Jestan’s parents “feel” about the whole event, have we?
The question is, does the Beth-Anne’s/Jestan’s mom know that it’s Kelab’s family/friends that Jestan messed with? If not, it makes sense at this time.
If they do, I think Beth-Anne’s foster mom would want what’s best for her, and wants her in a safe place, especially if she knows that Jestan did. I can’t tell if there’s malice in her words, but I don’t think there was any. I think she knows that Beth-Anne would be safe at Kelab’s house.
