Not until now. Don’t be surprised if she confronts both her dad and Flora about why they didn’t tell her that Benni beat off Jestan and his most loyal goons
I don’t know. Tanya likely remembers that Benni is the one that injured Caleb. Even though Caleb might be willing to forgive Benni, I don’t think Tanya’s quite ready to do that. She might show him some respect now that she knows he protected and defended her but I doubt it’ll go much further than that.
And what Benni did for her, might redeem him in her eyes. Also Benni is starting to realize who truly cares for him, which is something that Tanya is going to have to learn as well. One thing that we need to realize and understand is that Benni’s bullying and anger issues were caused by many things… His ‘father’ whoring him out to other kiddy diddlers His ‘father’ beating him for either running away, not doing chores, just because etc Him not knowing how to express what is going through his head properly Him getting treated as a degenerate like… Read more »
I can’t disagree with you but, since I started reading this comic a couple of years ago, one thing I’ve learned about Tanya is she tends to hold a grudge. (Likely the result of losing her mother when she was so young.) However, we do seem to see a slight thawing in her attitude toward Benni here. Of course, that could be because she’s a fighter like Benni. Benni has proven himself to be a bit more likable than he was originally shown to be and he’s become quite protective of the females in his life. I still don’t see… Read more »
I agree with Mvilu. I don’t see Tanya getting a crush so much as feeling like she gained a slightly older brother that could help her get better at fighting. I also don’t know if Tanya will go straight from being raped, then kinda molested by Tali, to feeling comfortable enough to be someone’s girlfriend any time soon. But I’m no psychic lol.
I want to believe this is a good thing. But the emphasis being placed on the word “off” suggests Tanya’s holding out hope for the possibility she wasn’t actually raped, and that part was just a nightmare. She’s going to be in for bad news come next page.
Still annoys me how, in the modern world, that myth is still prevalent. The hymen is NOT a barrier and doesn’t get torn unless an ass is rough with someone.
I mean. it was torn cause Jestan was an ass with her.
also it depends on the hymen. some are actually so thick and without passage allowance that they need to be pierced by doctors to let period blood through. and some are so thin that they break with the slightest provocation.

She super fine with him now that she knows that he beat the fuckout of him. Also how come she is just now finding out that he beat the hell out of her rapist. That might have smoothed things over.
Because other than Benni, only Colin and Flora knew what he did to protect Tanya. Not even Caleb knows (though not for long once Tanya tells him).
Remember that the kind, gentle and loving Benni is slowly emerging and he is still not sure what others think of his kindness. Look at how he reacted when Flora realized that he cleaned up the house while she was out with the girls, he is still terrified of a beating that will never happen again.
True. I think them not telling was an oversite though. To not explain everything that happened to her in that gap is a mistake. Along with feeling helpless and angry that what happened to her happened she also felt with it that the ambushing punk got away with it. She has pride in her strength. So thinking he got away with it probaby hurt that pride. She was dealing with that build up in anger along with all of the weird changes happening of course her dreams would turn weird. Benni beating the shit out of her rapist would certainly… Read more »
True. I was more going on her perception of events. Then again if she wasn’t told till later her justification would have been about the giant lawsuit that is about to rock his shit. Then again there is no part jn this where Benni part wouldn’t show up to speak about his part.

So Tanya wasn’t aware that Benni was the one who rescued her.
Not until now. Don’t be surprised if she confronts both her dad and Flora about why they didn’t tell her that Benni beat off Jestan and his most loyal goons
Phrasing!
oh good. Benni’s nose lives to see another day.
Yeah and a possible friend that will help him become a better person
I held my breath as I reloaded the page, and was happy to see everything was good. XD
I wouldn’t be surprised if she starts to respect him.
Only a little.
Nah, Benni just got something that he needed, Tanya’s respect and hopefully her forgiveness and friendship.
One thing that I can see happening is that Tanya might start fawning over Benni to the point that she wants to be his girlfriend.

Based on what we’ve seen in the last year, Benni is protective of the *people* in his life. Not just the females.

Benni definitely got Tanya’s attention now.
Very much so
Oh dear.

Yeah, that’s when the true hell for her and everyone around her begins
I think she knows, considering Flora had to explain to her about her hymen being torn.

Keeping in mind that the rape happened literally *yesterday* in-comic time, Jestan hasn’t yet “gotten away” with anything.
Legal ramifications have yet to be explored.
