I thought the skunk was successful in blocking the punch? Though he did then run off instead of trying to fight Benni.
I checked and you’re right. The skunk guy did block Benni’s punch. He also stomped down on Benni’s foot to distract him before he ran off.
Benni could be embellishing the story just a tiny little bit, trying to make it seem a bit more exciting for her. If you look at his expressions between Panel 1 and Panel 3, he goes from kind of worried to excited, I assume because she’s enjoying the story.
Yeah. I see what you’re saying. Benni knows that he ain’t Tanya’s favorite person (furson?) in the world and seeing how she’s excited about what he did (maybe did?) to protect her could be causing him to be happy that she’s not as angry toward him as she was.
Yeah, that’s true as well. Let’s just hope they get along better from now on 😀
I use both person and furson, but I’ve started using furson more often lately.
Actually, I was trying to think of what CampionL uses and I just remembered that he uses Beast. Oops. LOL.
I think that maybe they’ll get along better now. I seem to note a bit of thawing in the Tanya glacier on this page.

Uh, oh. Sex Ed a little late. Tanya may have some retraumatization once she realizes what really happened. Might bring what her dad had to do at the hospital into perspective, especially when she realizes where “the cat” was going to squirt. Benny has been skirting around mentioning that detail.
Tanya’s already had The Talkâ„¢ with her Aunt Vixy.
Not to mention, she’s already well aware of *where* Jestan “put it”.
Oh, BTW, this is the first time I’ve seen the word Weeble is more years than I care to admit to. I remember the commercials for them. “Weebles wobble but they don’t fall down.”
