Why do I have a feeling the next crisis will occur tomorrow when Tali’s “family member” shows up?
Tali’s family should be accompanied by social services. A youth officer should also be there. Remember, there is still an active investigation going on.
True, they “should be accompanied” by social services but, that may not be the case. Social services is notoriously understaffed on a good day and worse on a bad day.
Most especially in *this* situation, because so far the only CPS employees we’ve seen are Ms DeFay and her boss (whose name I forget but he’s the beagle in the CPS office) 😉

Tanya, sweetie, you need to calm down. You’re coming off as a bit too excited about these sleeping arrangements. Just remember it’s not likely that you and Benni will get to share the same room tonight.
Now the real question. Is the sleepover of this chapter going to follow the pattern of the last chapter? Is Colin going to feel persuaded into stripping like last night? Or will the fact it’s not strictly a boy’s night going to prove sufficient to stop him from attending Club Naked a second time?
I’m not sure letting Benni and Tanya stay in the same place s a good idea. Also, doesn’t Flora need to tell Benni and Tali about their dads getting arrested?
Good question. Perhaps Flora was told to try to keep it under her hat until further notice.

IIRC Karmen told her to tell them some chapters back, but she hasn’t gotten around to it. Maybe it’ll happen soon since Talitha’s relatives are coming to pick her soon.
I’ve got this sneaking suspicion that Colin might’ve seen Tanya rubbing Benni’s junk just before she could pull her hand back as he walked into the bedroom. If so then he probably knows what’s up, and can sit her down and advise her that, while he can’t really stop her from doing anything, he’d still prefer it if she keep her hands to herself, and that Benni does the same. I wonder if Talitha’s “family member” will be her mother.
On the day Benni and Flora meet her at the supermarket, she says her mother decided to extend her honeymoon by three weeks. IIRC that was two (maybe three) days ago.
It would likely depend on where she had been honeymoon…ing. (?) She certainly should have been notified when her (ex)husband was arrested.
I think it’s three days… but I’ve lost track again.
I’m seriously considering assembling a timeline for the comic to sort these things out. At least for my own use.
I wonder if Kaleb is going to start being a little jealous of Benni since Tanya has suddenly attached herself to him instead of Kaleb.
Kaleb;s never really shown any reciprocal interest or affection to Tanya, I suspect he’s nto going to be jealous, but possibly relieved?
Maybe. Or maybe he’s a typical pre-teen who secretly enjoyed her attentions (even if it was a bit overboard at times) and now he’s got a little competition. Of course, I could be wrong. (I usually am.)
