Funny, we once had a kitten named Figaro who stared at a pet rabbit in a cage for long periods of time. Eventually he started catching wild rabbits. None of the other cats in the neighborhood caught rabbits.

Seems like Tanya’s enthusiasm for being naked is finally being tempered by apprehension. She may be starting to understand that her dad was right about there being a time and a place for it.
Catching a fish with your bare hands is rather impressive. On a side note, I always forget how bony Benni looks; I wonder if he’ll put on weight now that’s being fed properly?
The idea is that he is an otter with a fur, tail, and everything, rather than a human wearing a costume. Note that the animals in this story have animal teeth as well, so one wonders if he can bite a crocodile and kill it like a real otter can.
It is an observation I’ve made before, and it came into sharp focus with this one.
Benni is actually looking *more* bony & emaciated over time.
It’s most likely just Campion’s art style continuing to evolve and/or additional attention to detail, but it does make for some interesting contrasts when doing a re-read. ^_^

Tanya, Benni is an otter and otter are natural born hunter/fishers.
A fox kit wouldn’t know about hunting at Tanya’s age?
Why would she? It’s not like Collin would force her to scrounge for her own food.

Oi, Benni. I have a pond on my property and rather uppity bass that has a habit of straightening hooks and stealing bait. Want a crack at ‘im?
This is just pure “YOINK!” :3
Barrel not needed.

Sorry about the delay, but I just realized that we can call this comic, fishy.
I hope they don’t get sick.
