It’s good to see the way this played out under effective legal scrutiny. Though the charges they pressed against him may not stick, hopefully he won’t soon forget this new understanding that it’s possible to go too far when attempting to “discipline” other people’s kids in public without the parents around, especially when that discipline is tinged with race-hatred and threats of physical mutilation. It’s unfortunate that it ever came to this, since the gravity of the situation may end up drawing the children into a painful public court situation.
