Of course, Flora’s also not looking at this exactly right. Talitha is messed up. She *should* be old enough not to go naked in public, but she also has other “issues”. I’ve noted before that she has an affect of a much younger child much of the time. But aside from Talitha, the only child they really ought to have any concern with is Hunter, because he’s legit still young enough to not have the “social nudity” thing down and know when it’s appropriate and when it’s not. I had a -COUPLE- social faux pas when I was Kaleb, Tanya, and even Bennie’s ages. Especially around home where I was most comfortable and most used to not thinking about my nudity. Certainly surprised my gram when she was over visiting and Star Trek: TNG was coming on and 11(ish) year old rocketed out of the shower to catch my favorite show, plopping dripping wet, somewhat soapy, and bare-ass naked on the sofa till the commercial break. I went around naked as hell besides underwear until puberty, the worst bullshit of my life. I was taught to never be naked, never learned it, just taught it’s wrong and I’d be judged.
You were a *very* unusual child, then.
Statistically the overwhelming majority of children as they enter school age start to become shy and much more private about people seeing their bodies. It’s seen even in a majority of children who were raised naturist.
For me, the Aspergers probably “helped”, social cues being harder to pick up and all. As I got well into young adulthood, I “figured it out” a bit more and technically got more body shy, but only in that the began to understand that my nudity made other people uncomfortable and that was very much not my desire. ROFLMAO. I haven’t heard that song in so long, I’d almost forgotten about it.
Yeah. They should be VERY careful with their clothing-optional lifestyle choice. Since all the kits had been involved in some way with some kind of sex abuse, government employees tend to pay close attention to those kits very a while. Perhaps Colin and Flora should talk to the K.P.S. people and explain that they want to try something that may help the kits overcome any mental problems they have with what’s happened to them.
Frankly that’s the sanest approach I’ve heard yet. But that’s another five pages/weeks for the story to get through.
Yeah, although 5 weeks may be a bit optimistic. LOL.

I don’t think Flora has to worry about anyone other than Talitha and maybe Hunter; I’m sure the other kids understand they can’t get naked in public. I vaguely remember Benni wanting to go skinny dipping once, but he was alone at the creek, so nobody would have seen. As for the book, I get where Colin is coming from; if anyone ever saw the book, they’d have some explaining to do and with the pedo ring that surely going to be exposed ny day, that wouldn’t be a good look.
