The problem is that unless the cop is riding a white steed and surrounded by a heavenly halo while holding up the 100th child they just saved while the crowd looks on in awe, we aren’t going to hear about the million of other good cops. For every trash cop and dirtbag there’s at least one good cop. No one’s going to cover the normal basic cop but they will cover the corrupt cop and they will cover the Hero cop and unfortunately the Hero cop has to wait for a ‘hero’ situation while the corrupt cop just has to… Read more »
There’s also another problem in most law enforcement departments, concerning corruption, and that’s the issue of both “good” and “neutral” cops “looking the other way”… I add “neutral” into the mix here because it’s not just a situation of “good and bad”… Some cops just join the force because it’s a job to them… Like any job, sometimes folks who are in that line of work are just there for the paycheck, and they’re not willing to go through the trouble of either being a hero OR a villain… Regardless, when you have corruption on a police force, there are… Read more »
By the way, corrupt cops are often put into small towns. The thought is pretty much that they can’t do big harm in quiet low populated places. Now we know that that isn’t the case AT ALL! I wonder if the cop will inform them about Tibiron not being Benni’s real dad?
Pretty sure Flora at least already knows.
Edit to Above: I went back and checked.
Karmen told Flora almost as soon as she herself found out.
Oh, I forgot Karmen had told her already

Like how I was astounded to realize that the day Tanya and Kaleb were assaulted was FOUR AND A HALF YEARS LONG. 😉
