Well said. Boundaries but also an emphasis on openness and honesty with respect. Rather refreshing, IMO.

“Now Benni, even though you have serious trust issues stemming from being expected to have sexual contact with a sexually-enthusiastic younger girl while the adults in your life coach you on how to do it, we want you to know that this is nothing like that, and we’re not even going to consider the idea that you might acquiesce to sex out of a need to please adults, because we’ve been very clear about how sex-positive we are. You can tell because we’re not paying or filming you. I should’ve figured out what the point of this comic really was… Read more »
Dude, take a breath. You’re starting to give off some serious pedo-twitter vibes in your posts. The kind you get from people who’re chronically on twitter for hours at a time, slogging through various feeds just looking for a reason to be offended to justify their being miserable, and just utterly attacking women and unashamedly telling them that they’re pedo-bait if they’re A. online and B. under 5 feet tall.
If you think this is nothing more than kiddie porn, maybe you should not read anything more. Real kiddie porn would have had the kids all enjoying sex, not being forced to when they don’t want it.
They literally just said that if he’s uncomfortable with her behavior that he has every right to say no and clearly said to Tanya that if she does something he doesn’t t want, that that is abuse. Trying to manage such issues with two kits who have suffered sexual abuse is complex and I think the comic does a good job of showing that. As for the panel you mention, I don’t see how it’s any more detailed than anything else. Finally, the fact that you compare a comic like this to Kit n Kay Boodle, which, from what I… Read more »
The artist behind Kit and Kay Boodle and other related comics was named Albert Temple. He passed away from natural causes in March 2017. His best comic was Gene Catlowe.
That is true, and it should be noted that Temple used another name for Kit ‘n’ Kay Boodle. Still, I wasn’t a fan of Gene Catlow either, which I basically found confusing.
Or the panel where Kaleb was exploring Bennie, like many kids have with each other, was a close up and more detail was required because it wasn’t far away… Yeesh. Going out on a limb much to find a bogey man a bit much? This isn’t twitter. The adults aren’t expecting him to “do” anything, they’re trying to set up a comfortable environment that doesn’t “evilize” the experiences he’s already had, thus creating more unneeded trauma, without adding to it themselves AND acknowledging that kits are gonna be kits… He’s never had the OPTION of saying “no” before, they’re not… Read more »
We’ve definitely got a twitternaut in our midst. Probably one with a huge amount of loli/shota artwork in their likes who hadn’t yet realized those likes are publicly visible, and who’ll private their account the second they realize they’ve outed themselves by protesting too much.

Wise words and good rules there Colin. Now to see if Tanya and Benni heed the rules and warnings.
Also I love the correction from my to our house, that is saying a lot.
I’d have a life with them as my (step) parents.

You’re right, Kit ‘n’ Kay Boodle was just repulsive even for porn. Nobody really wants to live in a world where everybody has sex all the time.
This webcomic talks about the unpleasant aspects of sexuality but does so honestly.
