I get the impression Kaleb is a stereotypical closet gay. From the rebellion at his religious studies, his willingness to be naked with Benni, his willingness to allow Benni to touch him (on the head), his “eagerness” to be naked, and now willing to shower with Hunter. Being 9 years old, it is hard to believe he would know what it means to be sexual gay. Benni knows, and might be the one to help Kaleb out.
Hopefully he’s not a closet pederast.
I’m glad that Colin refused to allow Kaleb and Hunter to shower together. Kaleb has been hit on the head-who knows what brain damage he might have sustained besides seizures? None other than Baron von Richtofen and Henry VIII both sufffered personality-changing head injuries.
Kaleb or Benni?
Because one of the most-important features of molester’s pathology is that they were abused themselves. Not all, obviously, but the percentage is high enough one could describe it as Universal to the psychology.
I remember reading that it is a myth. People who have said they were molested themselves have specifically stated that they have not become pederasts themselves. Benni, after all, has only had sex with Talitha because he was told he had to.
Not myth, No. I’ve seen the studies. I’ve heard of psychologists who dispute it, but so far it’s a fringe theory. Most psychologists and therapists still accept the statistical causation.
It’s true that the majority of abused *don’*t go on to be abusers. The studies do show that *among* abusers, around 80% were also abused.

Kaleb is still a boy in the phase of life where they think that girls are too strange to get along with and he does know what the word “gay” means, but he doesn’t yet understand how sexual orientation works and has not yet had any sexual feelings or experiences.
