OOF!!! Beth-Anne hasn’t had an easy life after her parents went to prison. She needs a stable life with a good influence. KPS is still investigating the rape case to assume that Beth-Anne will just be sent to another foster home (or get placed with Flora and Colin), and it’s unlikely that Tanya will completely accept and forgive her too soon considering that the rape occurred literally yesterday storywise. What could be likely to occur is a truce. As for knowing or not her backstory, it’s possible that KPS already knew of it, but not very much about her soon-to-be former foster family besides the rape and what happened to her after carrying Jestan out of the rain. I don’t think making a rape victim and a girl who conspired against her (and helped her brother to tie her up) to live in the same house is a good idea. Besides causing a lot of discomfort, it might even jeopardize Tanya’s trust towards adults, especially Flora
I have faith in Kaleb helping Beth-Anne simply by giving her a friendly, non-judgemental ear and the comforting support of just being there and not putting anymore tension on her like others might. Let’s be honest, Kaleb’s the sort of soul that all of us could see having as a friend.
