I think it’s about time our boy be Colin her bluff. Screw that bunny ass into the mattress until she can’t even walk straight, and see if she still thinks it’s such a good idea.
I remember a “Fritz the Cat” comic where a pigeon fangirl is desperately trying to get to Fritz, who is riding in a limousine. To the dismay of his guards, he lets her inside. Later on we see Fritz in bed, with the fangirl’s clothes on the floor. In the last panel, Fritz burps.
Didn’t they already do that? 😉

A rather healthy approach IMHO. And they make a most excellent team. Then again, I may be biased as I’ve been shipping these two from the earliest days of this comic.

Anyway, it s clear to me that they’re trying their best to figure all this out and make a workable situation. I’m sure they’ll work it all out soon.
I took it as an attempt to clarify and possible incredulity like he was asking her “what the heck?”
Communication is key, and she clarified what she meant well IMHO.
“Everybody Wang Chung tonight.”

Nope, nope nope nope, “I’ll have sex with you in front of children– your kids, my kids, even total strangers’ kids whose parents have never even heard of me– if you really want to” in a story allegedly built around the idea of CSA being bad but is now introducing the idea that some forms of sexual abuse are actually fine is double plus not okay. I’m sure glad this comic definitely isn’t a grooming tool for people who think there’s a difference between a child predator and a child-lover. Flora needs to move back to Yiffburg.
While I certainly agree with that, it has to be remembered that at this point in the story, Tali and Beth-Anne are scheduled to be picked up tomorrow. They’re not expected to be seen again; at least not in the blended household. What’s being discussed is mainly for Tanya and Benni’s benefit. Benni who’s been down the road of molestation/exploitation his entire life and has only recently started to learn that things aren’t supposed to be that way, and Tanya who they don’t want to go down that road. Tali and Beth-anne aren’t Flora or Colin’s kids. The parents should have known that the sex talk, if it was mainly for the benefit of the rape victims in the room, was not something that random neighbor children should have been present for in the first place let alone included. I can chalk that up to Flora growing up in a hippie commune, though. She’s not talking about having sex in front of all the kits there. She’s not talking about foreplay in front of all the kits there. She wasn’t talking about them being “instructed on foreplay technique” with an active demonstration. Just what kind of jag are you on? Unless I’m gravely mistaken, Flora seemed that she meant working up to heavier affection and messing around some, “PDA” as it were around the kits being ok. My aunt and uncle had sex in front of the children a couple times and now the eldest one is a child rapist. The other two are too young to qualify as one, but they’re getting there. First time I think Flora’s said something outrageously idiotic. SKIP THAT PART
While I think as well that part is uncalled for, it’s not the first time that she said poorly made statements. The previous time she pulled the “if you have nothing nice to say, don’t say at all” thing to Tanya (besides reacting more towards her ‘hostility’ and concern towards Beth-Anne than towards the rape and the time Kaleb got attacked by Jestan and his pals), which is not a good advice to give to a rape victim
Let us remember two important things. First, Flora is still learning about things herself. Second, she was also molested/raped as a child by that Whistle bastard. She’s been doing her best to sort through her own problems.
Something I’m aware of. What concerns me, however, is that if she’s not careful about choosing proper words and reacting towards certain situations (like the way she reacted towards Tanya’s subdued hostility vs the rape incident), sooner or later somebeast might assume that she’s not only “siding” with an abuser but also “caring” about their feelings instead of being concerned about their victim’s wellbeing, even though her intention is to encourage beasts to solve their conflicts in a civilized way and keep peace (and regardless of her experience about CSA). Child abuse is almost as common as furry art makes it seem. Sucks but this scenario has probably happened countless times.
