Ooh. I think someone’s getting jealous. And Kaleb’s found someone he likes? Cool.
Years ago there was a junkyard is DeKalb, IL, where they had two dogs and five cats. Two of the cats were friendly, one very much so. I petted the friendly one for a while, then started to pet another one. The first cat pushed the other cat away from under my hand.

A single homosexual encounter does not make one gay. For starters there is the obvious possibility they could be bisexual, or for that mater their sexuality may be different then their romantic attraction. For example he could be bisexual, but heteromantic, which is just one of many possible sexual/romantic attractions one could have. I assume in Kaleb’s case, he simply wondered why Benni’s penis looked different from his own. Also, Colin admitted to homosexual experimentation in college. Though when I went to college, I never heard of anybody doing that.
Experimentation happens a lot when you get clear of the house… especially if you’re just plain turbo horny and need some relief and are good with a guy or two who bring up the idea of “no homo” sex just to satisfy those urges when you’re not having enough, or any, luck with the ladies.
I’m of the impression that people who have sex in college already have done so before they arrived there. You may be away from your families, but there are other people around who see things, and word has a way of spreading.
Meanwhile, even though I didn’t hear of it when I was going either, THREE of my five college roommates came out as gay after leaving school.
We went to a religious-affiliated college, too.
There are plenty of homosexual Christians, believe it or not. I even know some.
I still say most people discover homosexual feeling either before or after college.
I’m pretty sure Kaleb was experimenting. The story line is still developing. so anything can go. Really, we are just guessing as Campion carries us along.

Meh. They got time to figure themselves out. Even from a writer’s perspective, the future isn’t set in stone. It’s on paper lol.
