Glad to hear that Benni doesn’t have to pay more for his father’s sins.
Also that Jestan is going to be looked at very carefully. I suspect something else is going on behind the scene there.
Rape, after all, is hardly a common practice among Elementary school children
I was thinking the same thing in regards to Jestan. I feel like he has to be an abuse victim as well, to be able to plan out an assault and rape at such a young age. Either that or he’s just a sociopath.
The fact that Benni is potentially getting a second chance at school is more promising for his, and Flora’s, future.
I don’t see Benni caring too much about his dad being jailed; if anything, it’ll be a relief that he doesn’t have to worry about him anymore. It’s Talitha I’m worried about, since she’s young and still doesn’t quite understand the wrongs her father did to her.
i don’t know how can you drop those news to those kids about their parents (benni will understand but talitha most likely wont) i know you have to tell them eventually but man it seems truly hard to do so. maybe ease in to it slowly
