Okay, now Benni is *clearly* uncomfortable.
Colin needs to remember that Benni is extremely susceptible to doing what people expect of him. Encouraging him to express affection physically is *not* a good idea at this point.
Hopefully he sees Benni leaning away and looking disinterested, because Tanya is definitely not good with limits.
Testified to by the fact in panel 1 she literally has her hand on his junk.

I can’t tell if he’s annoyed in the first panel, or just bored. Tanya’s obviously glancing down at his junk, but his eyes don’t seem focused on her or her hand.
For him, it’s probably boredom. Same old, same old, getting hands on his parts, he’s busy watching TV…
Then something unsettling happens; actual affection instead of molestation… “WTF, what do I do with THIS??”
I like that interpretation a lot better than what the rest of us have been thinking.
Poor Benni. Besides the fact he grew up in an environment where ‘physical affection’ (besides beatings from his dad) always ends up into underage sex, he’s still not very used to receive love. Especially from someone who used to hate him.
And Tanya, while it’s understandable that you’re expressing your love and affection towards him for saving you, being TOO touchy-feely towards another raped kit like him isn’t a good idea.
Presumably she doesn’t know how Benni used to be before he was rescued.
What happened to “I think the first rule’s obvious: keep your hands to yourself… just because you can see them, doesn’t give you permission to touch any other beast’s private parts.”?
The three boys last night were significantly less rowdy than Tanya. Colin’s going to have to play catch up to account for his daughter.
Poor Benni. Tanya really doesn’t understand just how close she is to driving him away because of how handsy she’s getting. We know she means well, but she’s just being too pushy because of that pesky hero worship she’s got going on.
The boy needs a code word he can say whenever someone’s doing something that makes him feel too uncomfortable. Something everyone in the family understands means it’s time to back off and stop touching him.
You know I just realized it’s kind of funny. A great deal of the comic’s plot got kicked off because Benni didn’t get an invite kiss to Tanya’s birthday party. Now he’s getting that kiss a few weeks later and he doesn’t know what to do about it.
Gotta ask: why are Tanya’s forearms white in the first panel but black in the rest? And I notice that Hunter’s forearms are always pale. At what age do they finally go dark?

Hmm I don’t know, I just think Benni is a bit unsure of what to do as he’s never really known genuine affection, that’s why he looks at Colin because he’s not sure how to react to it and he seemingly wants confirmation that what is happening is “OK”.
BTW, somebody on the Bad Webcomics Wiki is unhappy with the way the story is going.

One of them being the way Tanya is behaving, especially after having been raped.
One of those twitter addicts who sees pedophilia and grooming everywhere they look, because they can’t differentiate between innocent physical contact and sexualization.Probably one of those folks who jumped on the “Anya’s being sexualized because she’s blushing at her father picking her up!” bandwagon.
Is the “reader who used to be intrigued by the story” guy who’s complaining in BWW’s forum now?
I’ve wondered that myself. In any case, we at the Bad Webcomics Wiki aren’t pleased with this person either.
