Me too. When I was a kid, there was a lot of physical and emotional abuse in the house. Angry seemed to be the default emotion Dad had. He’d start out neutral, then furious over some small thing. It affected me and mom differently, but we were always in a state of low-level dread. One thing I remember Mom doing was plucking out strands of her own hair and eating them.
