I might also point out that, the last time I went to the DMV for my license renewal… I took a number and had a seat… and waited AN HOUR AND A HALF. Even tho I was the only one in line. 🙁
I did get it finally, after about a day of thinking the comic over.
(I’m slow that way, Sue me. 😉 It was seven *years* after I read the first Harry Potter book (in 2003) that the joke finally hit me: Diagon Alley. Diagonally. *headdesk* )

Seems that moving schools, presumably partway through the year, would be harder than this turned out to be.
It’s not as bad as one would think. It’s an adjustment for sure, but the transition in terms of paper work, enrollment, etc isn’t too bad.
