Yes, they’re young, with Tanya aged nine and Benni at 11 years-old but look at it from her point of view. She’s not being forced to have sex. Just the opposite. She’s openly giving her consent by repeatedly asking Benni for intercourse. And, rather than some fumbling amateur, Benni knows what to do and how to do it. Has been for years maybe. You missed a couple of strips. According to the Word of God (the Author) and explained in the strip, the anthros of this world are not cross-fertile. Tanya can only get pregnant with a male fox. I doubt birth control is as much of a thing as it is in an all-human world. Perhaps condoms to prevent disease tarnsmission, but not much else.
I’d forgotten that detail from ‘The Talk’ that Colin and Flora presented. Another reason for the world of Forest Hill to be more liberal concerning many things, including nudity and a certain amount of sexual experimentation. Being able to breed only within your genetic group may mean getting pregnant is more problematic than it first appears to be. And certain species, like hares and rabbits, have the ability to control their own fertility rates, depending on the local resources. That may explain why Flora’s folks, despite their family nudity and love of recreational sex, are seemingly no more populous than any other creature.
At this point, I’m just waiting for them to get caught.
